Storeman / Handy Person
Job Description
James Cowie Group Ltd are currently seeking a Stores / handy person for our workshop in Hamilton.
Working on their own & as part of a team, Duties will include but are not limited to
Checking / inspection of all goods inwards & outwards
Managing stock of consumables identifying & rectifying any issues
Making up & labelling material packs for despatch
Load / unload lorry using forklift
Liaising with office staff as & when required
Carrying out machine / plant checks as & when required
Pat Testing (full training will be given
Workshop / Yard cleaning Duties
Occasional driving, deliveries/uplifts

Requirements / Qualifications
Good communication skills both verbal & written
Forklift licence (counterbalance)
Full UK driving licence essential
Previous experience within stores
Hours of Work Mon - Thu 7.30am - 4.00pm Fri 7.30 -3.00pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
Work Location: In person
