Student Enrichment Officer - Jan 26.doc
Student Enrichment Officer
------------------------------
Job description
Student Enrichment at Solihull College delivers an inclusive and engaging programme that supports learners to build skills, explore interests and feel part of the college community. We are looking for a motivated Student Enrichment Officer to help plan and deliver activities such as events, trips, clubs, workshops and student-led projects, while also supporting the development of the student voice through work with representatives and volunteers.
The role includes helping to supervise social spaces, promoting positive behaviour, supporting cross-college initiatives and building links with external organisations. You will also contribute to the promotion of enrichment through social media and internal communications, while championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and supporting the College's commitment to safeguarding and sustainability.
You should be educated to Level 3 (A-Level or equivalent) with experience organising and promoting student-focused activities and engaging confidently with young adults. Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills are essential, and experience in Further Education or working with volunteers would be beneficial.
This role is based across both our Stratford and Blossomfield campuses.
The College is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community and welcomes applications from individuals across all sectors. We aim to reflect the diversity of our student population in our staff profile, ensuring that we provide the best possible experience and environment for our learners. Our goal is to continue to develop a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive workplace where all staff can thrive.
Please note if you are selected for the next stage in the process, you will be required to attend the College's premises, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Solihull College & University Centre is committed to ensuring a safe environment for all students and expects all staff to engage fully with this commitment.
