Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, along with exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and culinary excellence are maintained in our kitchen. As a Chef, you will supervise kitchen operations, uphold food safety standards, and create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, presentation, and hygiene practices. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Innovate new recipes and dishes that enhance the dining experience while managing costs effectively.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
