Your Role:
As a Children's Support Worker, you will provide both practical and emotional support to young people facing various challenges, empowering them to build a brighter future.

Promote healthy living, independence, and engagement in stimulating activities.

Providing Safety & Support
Monitor wellbeing, safeguard from harm, and create a nurturing, secure environment.
Support young people in managing emotions and overcoming personal challenges.
Being a Trusted Mentor
Offer guidance, listen actively, and encourage personal growth and resilience.
Build trusting relationships based on consistency, respect, and understanding.
Daily Living & Care
Support with everyday activities including cooking, shopping, and, where necessary, personal care.
Ensure daily routines are consistent and supportive of young people's development.
Key Worker Duties
Take responsibility for the care planning and personal development of designated young people.
Advocate for their needs and work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development
Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive, supportive environment.
Attend team meetings, contribute to care plans, and engage in continuous professional development.
Participate in training to stay up-to-date with best practices and legislative requirements.
