A newly registered, purpose-led children's home in Central Eastbourne is now hiring passionate and experienced
Residential Support Workers
to join their growing team. With Ofsted approval confirmed and two young people joining in mid-June, this is an exciting opportunity to help establish a high-quality, supportive and nurturing environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting young people aged 11-18 with EBD in a therapeutic, person-centred setting
Promoting emotional well-being, independence, and positive daily routines
Assisting with activities, appointments, and household duties
Following care plans, safeguarding protocols, and behavioural support strategies
Maintaining clear documentation and communication with the wider team
Who We're Looking For:
Experience working with children and/or young people with challenging behaviour or mental health needs is essential
Minimum of 18 months' referenceable experience in the UK
Ideally holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Must be on the
DBS Update Service
Full UK driving licence
required
Fit, healthy, and able to meet the physical demands of the role
