is looking for a compassionate and dedicated
Residential Support Worker
to join their team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with
Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

The home is part of a close-knit, child-focused organisation with a strong therapeutic foundation. Staff are supported through structured training, clear progression routes, and a team culture where quality of care truly comes first.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assisting children with day-to-day routines, personal care, and hygiene
Supporting and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
Providing emotional support and fostering confidence and self-esteem
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of care, progress, and incidents
Communicating effectively with children, families, and professionals
Engaging children in structured activities that promote development
Driving children to appointments or outings when required (preferred but not essential)
Contributing to a safe, consistent, and nurturing home environment
About the Role:
Full-time position
with a flexible shift pattern
Sleep-ins required

50 per sleep

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience supporting children or young people in a Residential Home -- essential
Understanding of EBD and trauma-informed care approaches
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
(or working towards it)
Strong communication and record-keeping skills
Calm, resilient, and proactive approach
A
UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
