Try Tag Rugby run mixed, men's and women's leagues and events in the sport of Tag Rugby throughout the UK. Tag Rugby is a minimal contact version of Rugby, generally played in a 7-a-side format. Tag Rugby is one of the fastest-growing, all-inclusive men's and women's sports available to our adult community. Our leagues take place on weekday evenings or weekends across the country.

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic, sports minded people to become a Tag Rugby Referee to officiate Tag Rugby matches in the Bristol area. As a Tag Rugby Referee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the ensuring fair play, promoting sportsmanship, and facilitating a positive atmosphere on the field.

Try Tag Rugby Bristol runs Tag Rugby leagues Monday-Thursday, typically between the hours of 18:30 and 21:30. On a league night it is typical to referee in up to 3-4 games depending on the structure of the league.

Responbilities:

Officiating Tag Rugby matches, enforcing game rules and ensuring that all players and teams adhere to the established guidelines. Creating a safe and inclusive environment by consistently applying rules and regulations fairly and objectively. Communicating effectively with players to clarify rules, provide explanations, and address any concerns or questions. Making timely and accurate decisions during the game, including calls on fouls, infringements, and scoring actions.

Experience:

No prior experience is required as training will be provided, however the following experience will be beneficial:

Experience in refereeing team sports (especially Rugby) Experience in playing Tag Rugby Experience in playing other codes of Rugby (Union, League, etc)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour
