Try Tag Rugby run mixed, men's and women's leagues and events in the sport of Tag Rugby throughout the UK. Tag Rugby is a minimal contact version of Rugby, generally played in a 7-a-side format. Tag Rugby is one of the fastest-growing, all-inclusive men's and women's sports available to our adult community. Our leagues take place on weekday evenings (between 18:30 and 22:00) or weekends across the country.



Try Tag Rugby Bristol is seeking a part-time Venue Supervisor to join our team! This person will be responsible for managing at least one of our Tag Rugby leagues on a weekday evening. This position will be responsible for ensuring the league night runs smoothly, maintaining equipment, and managing relationships with teams in the league during the week.

Location



The location of work changes throughout the year depending on season, however the evening of work is maintained. We are recruiting for the following venues/evenings:

Tuesday - Clifton Down (May to September), Lockleaze Sports Centre (September to May)

Thursday - Clifton Down (May to September), Cotham Park RFC (September to May)

Responsibilities



Manage fixtures and team bookings of pitches that evening. Arrive before kick-off to set-up pitches & conduct safety checks. Report any pitch health and safety issues to head office Manage relationships with team organisers to retain teams within the league. Understand and make sure teams adhere to league regulations. Explain the game to beginners, do new player briefings and provide a basic level of coaching to teams that need assistance Undertake basic first aid on any injuries (training provided) Referee games where required and manage & mentor regular league referees (training provided) Have a good understanding of all TTR offerings to confidently promote them to players at the venue (tournaments, events, other leagues, representative tag, refereeing, licensing etc) Keep suitable levels of all equipment and adhere to our stock & kit re-ordering procedures Conduct end of season presentations at the post league social venue Develop relationships with post league social venues to improve offers to players

Skills & Qualifications



Previous experience in sports management preferred but not required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, customers, etc.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour
