Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation and presentation Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and serving dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment centred on professional development Monitor portion control and minimise waste to optimise operational efficiency Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements



Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Previous experience in menu development and food production is highly desirable Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
