Duties

Prepare, cook, and present a variety of Indian dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and efficiency during service Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with management Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment adhering to hygiene standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and serving customers is highly desirable A passion for culinary arts and hospitality excellence
