Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Assist in the development of cost-effective recipes while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with a focus on cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
