As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and that our guests enjoy high-quality meals prepared with care and attention.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping and cooking ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
