The Massage Therapeutic Assistant Manager at Amethyst Therapeutic Care Limited will support the daily operations of the massage therapy department, ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role includes providing direct massage therapy, maintaining client records, and participating in both personal and service development activities. The Assistant Manager will also assist in managing staff, resources, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Assist the Department Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the massage therapy department.
Coordinate staff scheduling and resource management to ensure smooth service delivery.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies.
Ensure all therapists adhere to established protocols and maintain high standards of care.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline client care and enhance overall service delivery.
Answer telephones and answer all client enquiries and booking appointments.
Clinical Responsibility
Provide personalised and effective massage therapy treatments to patients with diverse needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
Assist in the development and implementation of new therapy programs and techniques to improve patient care.
Participate in client evaluations and offer feedback to refine treatment plans.
Staff Development
Mentor and support massage therapists, guiding them in enhancing their skills and professional development.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Organise and participate in continuing education activities to keep the team informed of the latest techniques and practices in massage therapy.
Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Monitor client feedback and address any concerns promptly to maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to continuously improve service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
Certified Level 3 or above Massage Therapist with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field.
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality client care and dedication to continuous improvement.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
