We specialise in all types of commercial door systems and, due to ambitious expansion plans, are searching for a trainee engineer to join our team.
As a collaborative employer we encourage all our team members to continuously review ways of working and suggest innovative ideas for improvement. We understand that our strength is rooted in the people that work here, as such we offer opportunities for formalised training and further development in all of our roles.

Upon the successful completion of your training (approximately 12 months to 18 months) you may progress to the role of Maintenance / Repairs / Installation Engineer and receive a further uplift in salary (typically 32k-35k depending on overtime).
Whilst a trainee engineer, your role will be to assist the engineer as directed, work to meet customer needs and be responsible for the condition of the van, equipment and tools, whilst also raising any issues that arise. You will also be responsible for collecting parts from suppliers and for all stock held on the van.
You will have an excellent attitude to customer service and a commitment to training and development. You will take instruction well and be a proactive learner.
Formal experience or qualifications, although desirable, are not required for this role however an interest in a career in engineering is essential.
Critically you will also understand the essential requirement for working with the Company's Health and Safety Guidelines.
This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week (in line with business requirements) working across the East Anglia region. For your induction and initial 3 months of training you will be based out of our head office in Thetford.
On occasion, you may be required to work overtime. All hours above the contracted 40 will be paid at your hourly rate until you qualified and enhanced rate after that.
