We're looking for a dynamic and motivated

Venue Manager

About the Role

As our

Venue Manager

, you'll be responsible for the

day-to-day running and successful launch

of The Bounce Park Eastleigh -- ensuring smooth operations, happy customers, and a motivated, high-performing team. You'll manage staff, budgets, and safety standards while supporting marketing and community engagement initiatives.

You'll also have the opportunity to

work closely with our sister business, The Play Park in Romsey

, collaborating with their Venue Manager and providing

relief management cover

when needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience across two thriving, family-focused leisure venues.

This is a hands-on leadership role with plenty of variety -- from managing events and overseeing the cafe to ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management & Recruitment

Recruit, train, and lead a dynamic team under senior management guidance Conduct performance reviews and maintain appropriate staffing levels Foster a positive, fun, and safe working environment

Financial Management

Track revenue and expenses, manage budgets, and prepare reports Ensure financial targets are met and costs are effectively controlled

Customer Service

Deliver outstanding customer experiences Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe venue environment

Operations & Facility Management

Oversee daily venue operations, safety inspections, and maintenance Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Marketing & Sales Support

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to promote events and special offers Build community partnerships and drive local engagement

Event Management

Manage bookings, coordinate logistics, and ensure smooth event delivery Oversee parties, group visits, and special events from start to finish

Cafe & Food Operations

Lead cafe staff, maintain high food quality, and ensure food hygiene compliance Monitor stock levels and ensure cafe profitability

Cross-Venue Support

Collaborate with the Venue Manager at

The Play Park, Romsey

Act as

Relief Venue Manager

when required, ensuring consistent standards and operations across both sites

What We're Looking For

1+ year

of management experience (preferably in leisure, hospitality, or entertainment) Strong

customer service

and

leadership

skills Proven ability to

manage budgets

and hit financial targets Solid understanding of

health and safety regulations

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Level 3 Management & Leadership qualification

(or equivalent) preferred
