Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Banbridge. This role is vital in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and support, aligning with our mission of providing excellent veterinary care.
Responsibilities
Managing client interactions at reception
Scheduling appointments and diary management
Processing payments and managing billing enquiries
Administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the practice
Handling requests for repeat prescriptions promptly and accurately
Maintaining a clean and tidy reception area
Any other duties as required
Essential Criteria
Good general education to include minimum GCSE grade C in English and Maths
Strong communication and customer service skills in-person, over the phone and in writing
Ability to remain calm and composed whilst working efficiently
Attention to detail with accuracy and confidentiality in handling client records, payments and administrative tasks
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft word and excel packages
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, and independently when needed, within specified guidelines or processes
Desirable Criteria
Minimum 1 year's experience in a receptionist or office administrator role
Hours
2-3 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Plus every 2nd Saturday morning 8.30am to 1.00pm
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
