We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and support to pet owners while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary practice. Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders for clients.
Handle incoming calls and direct inquiries regarding services, treatments, and pet care to appropriate staff members.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Provide support during emergencies by coordinating communication between clients and veterinary staff.
Experience
Previous experience as a receptionist in a veterinary practice is not essential
Experience in a hospitality sector is desirable
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
