An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated individual to join the reception team at our independent small animal practice in Filey.
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, our receptionists play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience -- from celebrating the joy of a new puppy's first visit to offering empathy during difficult times.
We're looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organisational abilities, and a positive team spirit. You'll thrive in a busy, varied environment and remain calm and caring under pressure.
Customer service experience is essential, but full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting clients and providing a warm, professional welcome
Answering telephones and responding to emails
Booking appointments and registering new clients
Processing payments and cashing up
Supporting administration tasks such as filing and scanning
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in reception and consultation areas
About the Role
Part-time: 20-25.75 hours per week
Working every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Flexibility to cover holidays when required
