Receptionist

Salary: 12.33 per hour

Location: Park Vet Group, Glenfield

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 16 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Saturday 1-7pm Sunday 8-7pm

We are currently seeking a new receptionist to join our fantastic team here at Park Vet Group!


We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment.


The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Welcoming and registering new customers. Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries Managing customer expectations regarding wait time. Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc. Taking payments Promoting offers and services Remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor's behaviour.

Experience required:

A minimum of 12 months' experience dealing with customers in a customer facing role. Reception or Client Care experience Cash handling and till operation IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum Knowledge of client-based computer system and using a multiple line software-based telephone system English and Maths GCSE and good general education Any form of client care/ Veterinary receptionist qualification
