Veterinary Receptionist

Role Overview

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people and animals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming clients and their pets with a friendly and professional attitude Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and booking appointments Managing the practice diary and coordinating with vets and nurses Processing payments and handling basic administrative tasks Keeping the reception area clean and organised Assisting clients with forms, prescriptions, and general queries Providing support during busy periods and helping maintain an efficient workflow

What We're Looking For

Previous experience

in a veterinary practice is

essential

Excellent communication and

people skills

Confidence in handling busy periods

and multitasking effectively

Basic IT skills for managing appointment systems

and payments

A compassionate nature

and a genuine love for animals
