About Us

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. is a community-interest company on a mission to expose and dismantle the hidden pandemic of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) within the Black British and Caribbean community. We are truth-tellers, campaigners, and change-makers who believe that silence enables abuse -- and that truth, when spoken boldly, can bring healing, justice, and transformation.

Why This Role Is Vital

Media silence and systemic neglect have left CSA underreported and often ignored in our communities. As our

Key Responsibilities

Investigate and research cases of CSA, systemic failings, and community stories. Conduct interviews with survivors, families, professionals, and experts (with sensitivity and safeguarding in mind). Write compelling reports, articles, and features for publication across our platforms. Collaborate with our campaign team to ensure findings are presented powerfully and ethically. Help shape narratives that cut through silence and drive meaningful change.

Skills & Qualities Needed

Courage to uncover difficult truths and a commitment to justice. Understanding of safeguarding principles and survivor-centred reporting.

Ad Hoc Duties

A platform to use your skills in journalism to drive social justice and reform. The opportunity to build a body of investigative work with national and community-level impact. Experience collaborating with survivors, campaigners, and thought leaders in a vital movement. The fulfilment of helping to uncover the truth and protect future generations.
