About Us:

Tapa Tapa is a vibrant and welcoming Spanish tapas restaurant located just outside the ExCel exhibition centre at Custom House in East London. Known for our signature warm Hola! and exceptional team, we serve a delicious blend of traditional and modern tapas dishes, paired with a selection of Spanish beers, wines, and mixed drinks like Gin Tonica and our house recipe Sangrias. Our restaurant is a favourite for both private corporate events and visitors to ExCel, making us a busy and exciting place to work.

The Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly waiters and waitresses to join our dynamic team. You'll be the heart of our guest experience, ensuring that everyone receives a warm welcome and outstanding service. Key Responsibilities:

Warm Hospitality:

Greet guests with our signature Hola! and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.

Service Excellence:

Take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure that all guest needs are met with efficiency and a smile.

Teamwork:

Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests.

Event Support:

Assist with corporate events and private functions hosted at the restaurant.

Restaurant Presentation:

Ensure that tables and the restaurant environment are always clean and welcoming.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment preferred. Passion for hospitality, great food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service quality. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
