Main Responsibilities

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for managing a designated section of tables, ensuring that guests are greeted warmly and that their dining experience runs smoothly from start to finish. If the Host is unavailable, you will take the initiative to welcome guests and direct them to their seats. You will present menus, provide detailed information on menu items, specials, allergens, and promotions, ensuring guests have a full understanding of what's on offer.


You will take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring that all customer requests are met in line with our procedures. You will also be responsible for being fully aware of allergens and following internal safety protocols to deliver food safely. Maintaining clean and presentable tables is a key part of the role, as is offering excellent customer.


Additionally, you will have the opportunity to upsell additional items from the menu, such as desserts, drinks, or sides, when appropriate. Handling payments accurately and efficiently is essential, as is assisting with the opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area and staff spaces. You will ensure your workstation is clean and organised at all times.


You will also learn to use our EPOS system and may be asked to support the team during busy periods by taking on extra tasks. Completing daily checklists to ensure that all tasks are completed is also part of your role.
