Are you an organised, detail-driven individual with a passion for efficient operations? Yorkshire Garden Centres is looking for a Warehouse Operations and Inventory Coordinator to join our team! As a Warehouse Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing stock across multiple locations, ensuring timely shipments, and supporting a smooth-running warehouse environment. You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your efforts will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do:



Maintaining accurate records of all warehouse inventory, including stock levels and locations where possible. Liaise with Warehouse manager, team and departments to coordinate stock takes and issues that may arise e.g. movements and dispatches on C+F Processing incoming and outgoing movements between stores, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely delivery on agreed delivery days for areas e.g. delivery areas during the week Courier data entry i.e. Pink Link and APC creating labels, arranging collection and dispatching sales orders from C+F Dispatching deliveries on Corby and fellas ensuring items dispatch from the correct locations and making amendments where necessary for Tong van deliveries also making sure all deliveries have been done to vehicles manifest that day Answering internal and external queries about deliveries and movements where possible When required assist with booking in goods deliveries and help with containers Handling all warehouse-related paperwork, including purchase orders, movements and delivery notes (Internal and external) including scanning and relevant filing on share point Ensure safety checks are done e.g. machinery, vehicles, racking, equipment and scanned to share point Supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations, including coordinating with team and group warehouse manager. Taking calls, booking in deliveries and verifying P.O.s on the system Directing / supporting with team calls and information where/ when needed Helping direct customer calls to the correct departments Helping with correspondence such as emails and queries Liaise with waste management to swap skips and collect baled waste Addressing and resolving issues related to inventory, shipments, or other warehouse operations. Track down products dispatched through couriers

Qualifications ad skills we are looking for:



High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or logistics preferred Experience in warehouse management or logistics Forklift/PPT licenses desirable but not essential Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
