The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily delivery operations and providing administrative and logistical support to the warehouse team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Daily Deliveries:
Coordinate and monitor all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Ensure delivery schedules are adhered to and documentation is accurate.
Communicate with transport companies, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any delivery issues.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and dispatches.
Prepare and process shipping documents, invoices, and internal reports.
Update warehouse management systems (WMS) and databases as required.
Team Support:
Assist warehouse staff with day-to-day operations as needed.
Support inventory checks and cycle counts.
Help enforce health and safety compliance within the warehouse.
Other Duties:
Respond to internal and external queries promptly and professionally.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in warehouse processes and systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative support role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Driving Licence
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with inventory control and logistics.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
Forklift certification (optional but beneficial).
