This position is working

Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am [midnight].



Please Note: In the first 3 months of training the rota will be 12 hours shifts, working 8am-8pm and 8pm - 8am.



The duties of this post include:

1. Becomes daily acquainted with the warehouse stock levels as well as the scope of the jobs schedules for a given day and allocates tasks to individual employees.

2. Organises work on the shift, including daily brief meetings with team members.

3. Conducts the process of receiving and dispatching the ready products, packaging, scrap, waste, raw materials and courier dispatches to the warehouse, in line with the accepted rules and current instruction concerning the warehouse turnover.

4. Places orders for the materials and packaging indispensable to maintain the production flow.

5. Applies to the Department Manager for the purchase of materials, spare parts and equipment.

6. Supervises and keeps warehouse records in the MM and WM mode of SAP system and other applications as well as their proper archiving. Prepares various reports connected to warehousing.

7. Control the supervision of proper loading and unloading of products, scrap metals, packaging, raw materials as well as their storing.

8. Monitors suitable protection of the products and materials stored in the warehouse

9. Supervises the cleanliness of the halls and areas to be compliant with the current HCCP and WCM Standards. Ensure 5S rules are followed and continually improved within the warehouse.

10. Organise employee break times i.e. ensure times are not exceeded and all employees receive their break entitlement.

11. Co-operate with other departments as appropriate.

12. Attends all training proposed and required by CPUK. Also provides job training for newly hired employees and where applicable persons external to CPUK i.e. Agency workers and/or contractors. Coach and motivate team members.

13. Assists with the implementation and maintenance of CPUK systems, including performing internal audits as required. (Audit theory and practice training will be provided).

14. Monitors employees' health and hygiene as well as the correctness of the tasks assigned to them.

15. Supervises the compliance with H&S, fire protection, and environmental regulations.

16. Reports on the completion of assigned tasks.

17. Covers the role of Warehouse Controller as and when required by moving on to cover a shift.

18. Always using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

19. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures and policies.

20. Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO 14001 and BRC procedures and guidelines on Health & Safety.

21. Perform other such duties of a similar nature as from time to time may be required including any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

22. Appropriate dress for the job in hand which obeys all the relevant H&S regulations in force.

23. Preparing daily KPI reports and putting data on the board

The successful candidate must have:



5 GCSE's or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of stock control applications. Basic knowledge of ISO, HACCP, WCM. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid Counterbalance License.
