Workshop Assistant- Aquarium Construction - General maintenance person
Location
: Broad Oak Farm, Newchapel, Lingfield, Surrey, RH7 6HUWe are a high end Aquarium manufacturer, we design, build and maintain Glass Aquariums, from 8 metre tanks to small bespoke aquariums.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team at our main workshop. Your role would be to assist our existing team in the preparation, building and quality control of our products before being delivered to clients, or to our shop in London. You will also be required to attend site builds where needed and support our Installation manager with projects.
Ideally we would like someone with aquatic knowledge - including understanding of life support systems and basic husbandry.
Main duties would include:
General workshop maintenance, basic wood working, basic glass handling/cutting. There will be some heavy lifting involved within this role as well as occasional on site work.
Full training will be given, including how to build Aquariums.
Due to our rural location, and the need to drive for the business, a full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Location: Lingfield/Newchapeal in Surrey
Contracted hrs : Mon-Fri. 9.30-5.30pm although on occasion, some out of hours work will be necessary.
Salary dependent on experience.
