Making A Difference

is a wrap around family support service that provides PA support in the home and activities in the community for children and young people with learning disabilities.

We are actively seeking a reliable, caring Male support worker for weekdays and weekend day support in the community and/or family home.



Your role will be to support a young male with learning disabilities and ADHD to enjoy social activities, learn life skills and promote independence. Activities in the community may include things such as bowling, go-karting and cinema.

Key Requirements:



Energetic, fun personality with a sense of humour Ability to communicate effectively with children, young people, parents and colleagues. Experience in supporting young people with learning disabilities and/or behaviours that may challenge. To work confidently alone and as part of a team. Driver with use of own vehicle

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
